Managing Self

The key competency we are looking at this week is managing self. It's all about being ready and focussed for learning. When we stay on-task and listen to the teacher, when we are organised and following instructions we are self-managing. I took photos of children self managing in Room 7 today...look at these great learners!!

Welcome to Room 7

We are happy to be back at school. We are already working hard!
In Reading we are working on SRA. This helps us to find facts, understand our reading and learn more about words.

We want to start Smartwords Spelling so we are having lots of tests to find our level.
We are writing cool holiday stories.
We have been having fun in the pool. We even played "Captain's Coming" in the water.
Come and visit our classroom so we can tell you more!
